Nice accessory item, but in my opinion a fourth clamp to hold the phone securely and a switch to interrupt the charging process are missing

This has been around a couple of years now, but I have never seen one on the road. Has anybody on here had an insurance quote? I have heard that premiums are very high.

For a Kawasaki Versys 1000 2014 should i get Dunlop RoadSmart 4 GT or Bridgestone T32 GT? I ride solo, so maybe i should pick the non GT version? The bike is 239KG/526lbs wet and i'm 170lbs.

Looks really well made. But think I would stick with the quad lock. Also looking forward to the 13th for the ride out, hope the weather holds as it’s a long ride from west Wales if it rains 😂.

It's looks very well made, however it does not look like it holds the phone that securely. If you drop the bike I would hazard a guess that your phone will be thrown out the mount when the handlebars hit the deck. Regrettably I have had this experience when using a similar mount even though it had a locking mechanism.

I've just bought one as a second bike to my Honda CB1100RS. I've been tempted to buy a Scram since they were launched but now they've been discontinued in the UK and discounted to £3699, I just had to jump in.

Hey, just installed mine and I'm also waiting ages looking at the accesoire manager saying "connect device to continue" and nothing is happening. I have bought I believe a silver coloured gen 2 but next to the micro usb port there is also no LED light blinking at all. How long did it take to get that popup?

I have calimoto and found it's UK mapping to be abysmal on curvy roads nothing below high numbered B roads is shown or used. In the Yorkshire dales you can't even instruct it to go down some roads it's progress to the village and turns around even though the tarred road continues. Yet a dowmloaded gpx of ACT pyrenees loads perfectly. Perhaps they didn't want to pay for our quality cartography!

At first glance I don’t like it. It is bulky I prefer the design of triumph tiger 900. Then, a bike that cost 13000 euros and is created for adv/touring but without a decent windshield.

Hi Toby, I'm a retired Motorcycle Policeman fron Sydney NSW across the pond in Australia. After nearly 40 years in the job I spent the last 25 odd years in the V.I.P. Motorcycle Escort Section. We do the Scurity & Diplomatic Escorts like your mob in London does with the Royals. In answer to your paint scuffs on the RT-P BMW, the cause is this. The scuff across the rear radio box lid is from the officers boots or leggings rubbing as you got on or off. Most of the time you lifted your leg high enough, but not always. Especially when you'd done a 12hr plus shift on it and were getting tired. The front paint scuff on the left fairing is from where the communications , "Comm's" cord from your helmet plugged into the radio head set. The cord invariably hung down and would rub on the paint work over the working life of the bike. We generally put 80,000km plus on our bikes before changeover, sometimes a lot more. The excess comm's cord that hung down was designed so the you could dismount and be near the bike, say when controlling an intersection on an escort & still be plugged into the radio. Ours used to rub the fairing paint work all the time. Hope this is of interest to you and explains why "Barney" has those marks. Regards Grant.

Received my W702B today! Mount it on the original BMW bracket, everything worked perfect thanks to your tips and advices. The only concern I have is that it vibrates on the road and with the motorcycle engine. Any recommendations to improve this?

None UK licence holders can get points. The points are not on their own country licence, if they commit an offence that attracts points DVLA will give them a ‘ghost licence’, that is they are given a driver record and the points are recorded on that. The police are able to give out ‘on the spot fines’, these must be paid there and then. The driver can still elect to go to court, if they do that they still have to pay the fine, officially they are classed as a roadside deposit. If they go to court and are found not guilty they get the deposit back.

Hi guys. I am from Norway, going to UK in july. What about safety when it comes to parking the bike when visiting places . Parking with the luggage on and leaving the bike maybe for an hour or two?? Any special areas that have more criminals than other. We are avoiding the big cities. Any tips please ??

Is this bike good for two people?

I got these on my 2024 Transalp, grippy tires but the noisiest tires I've ever owned between 100 to 125 kms per hour. Gotta wear ear plugs all the time now.

If you breakdown get out vehicle on nearside and stand well away behind barrier or up embankment and walk away from vehicle to the rear and back towards the traffic, so if a vehicle hits your bike or car you will not be hit by flying debris or damaged vehicles.

Do not buy it my screen had gone bad and they wanted me to repair myself and I was not happy with that and then they offered to send me a new unit at the cost of $30 I said no and want a refund, they threaten me by saying it would cost me to send it back and only offered me $60 from $175 not impressed at all so I’ll bin it and get the interphone ridesync instead as I know the Italians will honour the warranty.
